The fully developed ancestor of the human kind had its roots in Central Africa and its group had moved northward to the territories of present- day Egypt. This group of Homo Sapiens that immigrated to Egypt have formed farming societies along the Nile River Valley and established the Nile River Valley Civilization. The members of this civilization split into two branches, the Northern Branch and the Southern Branch. The two different branches of the civilization became the Upper Kingdom and Lower Kingdom of Egypt respectively. And the two kingdoms were united into a single Kingdom of Egypt under the First Pharaoh of the First Dynasty. From then on, the Kingdom of Egypt will continue to expand in all four cardinal directions and form a formidable empire that would eventually rival those of Persia and Assyria.
